BioThe Equuschick is a 23 year old Christian homeschool graduate who is majorly critter obsessed and minorly literature obsessed. She works 30 hours a week for her county's animal shelter. Along with a comfortable salary (the Equuschick is nothing if not mercenary), this position has also provided her with a 3 yr. old black lab mix known as Zeus the Moose.. The Equuschick only wishes her job left her more time for horse-back riding (on occasion she instructs),and the babying of her 26 year old senior equine.
Her favorite authors, for those interested, are as follows: C.S Lewis, J.R.R Tolkien, Madeleine L'Engle, Dorothy Sayers, P.G Wodehouse, Terry Pratchett, Blaise Pascal, T.H White, Micheal Ende, Ellis Peters, Sterling North, Jostein Gaardner, Cornelia Funke, L.M Montgomery,A.A Milne, and etc. The Equuschick is fond of books.
Her favorite subjects of study include (but are not limited too), philosophy, living science, anything at all pertaining to animals both wild and domestic, rainforests, the Loch Ness Monster, Kubla Khan, Xanadu, Komodo Dragons,the Spartans at Thermopylae, evolution vs. creation science, and such subjects as the breeding and care of fish. She is enchanted with the random.
She is fond of chocolate and coffee. She prefers the former with peanut butter and the latter in iced versions.
